I often don’t pre-wash fabrics before sewing with them but do get frustrated that the central crease doesn’t properly come out, even with a steam iron. Well, let me tell you about a fab product that I have discovered to help with that!
At the start of 2018, as a family, we embarked upon a journey to reduce harmful chemicals and single use plastics from our home. This is something I had wanted to do for a long time but not really known where to start, apart from the obvious reusable water bottles. Then a friend introduced me to a company called Norwex, which specializes in solutions to reduce chemicals and plastics from cleaning products, kitchen items and personal care routines. I tried out a few products straight away and was totally converted to them. Since January I have gradually been trying out more and more of their items and have actually joined the company as an Independent Sales Consultant.
The most recent product that I have tried is their Wrinkle Release Spray. You simply spray a little onto the crease, smooth it out and wait for it to dry. It is AMAZING! Completely removes the manufacturing central crease with no trouble at all. I will certainly still iron fabrics as my first action but this is the perfect tool for those stubborn little wrinkles that no amount of ironing will remove. And, better still, the spray contains natural ingredients and is free from parabens, phthalates, artificial dyes and fragrances.
Not only is this perfect for sewing but it is also great to pop in to your bag on a trip to remove any wrinkles in clothes when there is no iron available.
