Since welcoming our baby seven weeks ago I have been managing to still make my weekly arrangements, but I have been struggling to find the time to sit down and write the posts and share the photos. So, in an attempt to catch up today I am sharing weeks 43 and 44 of #ayearofbringingnatureinside
For week 43 I explored my parents’ garden and found some plants enjoying a last hoorah. It was lovely to find some vibrant summer colours surviving, despite the recent frosts. I picked some lovely roses/buds and also found these other flowers, but sadly I don’t know what they are. (If you can identify them please drop me a comment below.)
For week 44 I found a beautiful acer leaf that had dropped into our garden from our neighbours’ tree. I love acers and really enjoy being able to watch this particular tree as it moves through the seasons. At first, I was stumped as to how to display this, but then remembered a beautiful little frame that was gifted to me a couple of weeks ago by a very dear friend. It is waiting for me to choose a suitable photo so I decided to temporarily use it on my mantelpiece to hold the tiny leaf.
