A Year of Bringing Nature Inside – 24/52

13th June 2018

This weekend we were looking after our neighbours’ dog and took her for a walk in a meadow just behind our house. It is a beautiful little spot that doubles up into the perfect sledging hill for small people when it snows!

Whilst on the walk I gathered some wild flowers and grasses for week 24/52 of #ayearofbringingnatureinside

Not a great move for the hayfever but it resulted in a pretty little assortment of colours and shapes, which I arranged in a vintage jug that my mum bought me a few years ago.

I had been hoping to find some large daisies like I keep seeing on the sides of the road but unfortunately none could be found on this walk. Will have to keep my eyes open for a future week!

The lovely Emma also shared an arrangement, which was cut from her garden. She lives in Bristol and has recently bought a house with a really established and beautiful garden. If you would like to share your homegrown or foraged arrangements either email them to me or use the hashtag #ayearofbringingnatureinside on Instagram.
