We were away for the bank holiday weekend and I used the opportunity to gather something different to what I have growing in my own garden for week 19 of #ayearofbringingnatureinside
I have long loved camellia but have always been reluctant to put one in my own garden as they look so sad if struck by a frost. In the protected Dorset garden there was a beautiful dark pink camellia growing and so I cut a single flower.
Placed in a little vintage stoneware bottle, it looked just perfect as a table decoration. I picked up the bottle while we were away at a vintage emporium for the grand total of £2.
